The firmness is medium, rated C3 class in Dunlop terms (roughly equivalent to 32-ILD in Talalay). While the surface feel is initially soft and responsive, the latex provides excellent underlying support and weight redistribution, cradling the body without bottoming out. The latex core is wrapped in pure wool and encased in a 100% organic cotton casing, a simple, clean material stack with no synthetic components.
The pure wool wrap in the White Lotus mattress earns its place on multiple fronts. It acts as a natural flame retardant, eliminating the need for synthetic fire retardant chemicals.
